is a songwriter from Madison, Wisconsin. A full-time performer for over a quarter century, he has toured widely through the United States and Canada at clubs, festivals, colleges and schools. His original repertoire is vast, encompassing songs of nature and environmental issues, very funny (and pointed!) topical and political material, and love songs (of course!). He is also known for amazing songs for children and families (solo and with The Kenland Band)... more on that aspect of his work can be found at, a site dedicated completely to his songs and recordings for the younger set.
Ken performs solo (vocals and guitar) or with additional players (a variety of great percussionists, multi-instrumentalists, bassists, etc.). With his band, The Whateverlys, he plays special events and festivals (with a mix of original songs and classicss).
Three new releases set for Fall, 2007: "Sign "N Songs (DVD with animation / live performance mix), "Hamelin" (CD, musical retelling of the Pied Piper), and "Awaken!" (CD, musical retelling of an Aztec folk tale).
