Biography The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, led by Maestro Andrew Sewell, is a vibrant and thriving professional chamber orchestra dedicated to providing high-quality musical performances designed to entertain and enrich the quality of life of diverse audiences.
The WCO performs nearly 30 concerts per year, including Concerts on the Square, Masterworks, Halloween!, Middleton Holiday Pops, youth concerts and concerts around Wisconsin.
With a core orchestra of 34 musicians, two critically acclaimed CDs, a newly established $10 million endowment, and a new home in Overture Center for the Arts' Capitol Theater, the WCO is entering an exciting new era.
As part of the WCO's strong commitment to music education, it offers local youth firsthand exposure to orchestra music through youth concerts and guest artist outreach programs and gives students opportunities to share their talents through its Statewide Young Artist Concerto Competition.
