Biography The Serevende Marimba Ensemble is an African marimba group based in Madison, Wisconsin. It is the only group of its kind in this part of the United States. Influenced by the mbira music of Zimbabwe, Serevende marimba blends beautiful African melodies with powerful drumming from Brazil, Cuba and Africa. SEVEN African marimbas lead this ensemble. It is a sight and sound that must be seen and heard.
