With the release of her debut album, "Know Me" in 2007, R&B artist and songwriter Felicia Alima took the bold first step in a solo career of absolute guarantee. The Australian-born, half Indonesian, half Czech beauty is undoubtedly the next big thing to represent international R&B. Growing up in a family accustomed to art and music, (her father being a great influence as an avid guitarist and musician), there was no doubt where her aspirations would take her.
Moving to the USA in 2002, she became a mixtape DJ, which ultimately fostered her ambition to pursue her own projects seriously. Since 2006, she has made three releases - "The Way We Do" [EP], "Know Me" [Album], and "Trade" ft. Chino XL [Maxi-single]. Alima is also expecting to release her latest effort "Know Me - The Remixes" [Album], in early 2010, which features all the hits from her debut album as remixes, as well as some bonus tracks!
Creating a buzz on an international level, Alima has won 7 MAMA awards, while receiving multiple nominations throughout the years. Felicia Alima is promoted and distributed by her own entertainment company, CHANTIK SOUL ENTERTAINMENT, (Chantik meaning beautiful in Bahasa Indonesia).
