Biography
No less than renowned country music historian Bill Malone calls Kristy Larson "one of the shining lights of Madison roots music". Her light burns even brighter as she joins forces with husband and multi-instrumentalist Mark Roeder and bassist Steve Kasprzak.

Anchored with Kristy's rhythm guitar, Steve's driving bass,and Mark's mandolin, violin and non-pedal steel guitar, Kristy's heart-wrenching vocals lead you through an eclectic list of country classics and alt-country/roots.

The Kristy Larson honky tonk trio released their cd 'honky tonk trio' in May of '08.... winning the 'Country Album of the Year' MAMAS (Madison Area Music Awards Show) award in May,'09.

You might know Kristy from her work with 'Kristy & the Wild Blue Yonder Boys' or 'The Dang-Its' (with whom she's recorded 2 cds, still available at their current website although they don't actually admit it, ha! Sometimes bands don't 'end' well, ja know?). Mark's recorded on Vinyl with 'Wet behind the Ears' and duo-ed with Bill Miller. Steve plays in a variety of settings and groups from the Madison Symphony Orchestra to his solo show.
